When choosing to purchase hearing devices for the first time customers are often unaware of the level of interaction required between client and Audiologist and the time it takes to truly perfect the setup of these instruments.
Furthermore, first time buyers often overlook ongoing maintenance and servicing. This is why experienced users more regularly seek out established, independent audiologists for ongoing support and future purchases.
From the initial consultation and testing to future fine tuning and maintenance appointments; every interaction with a member of the BHC team is a pleasant one. We never rush clients nor do we have a large team, so you will always see the same friendly faces. For clients unable to make it to our centre we offer home visits within Kent and East Sussex; all of our equipment is portable and we frequently visit all of the local nursing homes in the area.
You are not just buying a hearing device...
With the purchase of any hearing device at BHC clients are also buying into a service level package. The below table outlines these packages and the ongoing costs, after 3 years at either the Essential, Advanced or Superior "tariff" clients will be charged according to the basic service level, or can choose to invest in our HearCare membership.

We also cater for clients who have purchased hearing devices elsewhere. BHC will take over their ongoing adjustments for a one off charge of £250.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
# In the unlikely event of the hearing instruments proving to be unsuitable, providing return is in new condition within 30 days of fitting, Bexhill Hearing Centre will refund the full cost of the hearing aid, minus all service costs incurred during testing, fitting and fine tuning, these costs wil be charged according to the "basic" performance level.
# Adjustment appointments are conducted to the best of our abilities and we ensure each client leaves with a satisfactory result/correction. However the overall outcome to such changes is based on perception and preference to varying factors we cannot always account for. If the result of a service does not meet your expectations we must be notified of this withing 48 hours. In the event of this notification falling outside of 48 hours the client will be charged the full amount for an additional adjustment.
The HearCare Membership
# HearCare appointments are a maximum of 60 minutes each. Should an appointment overun it will be charged according to the clients perfomance level rate.
# HearCare members may have a maximum of two appointments booked at any one time.
# HearCare Members can cancel at anytime by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
# If devices and HearCare are purchased on the same date, £50 per device will be dedcuted from the purchase price.
# Superior level clients signing up to HearCare at the point of device purchase will begin their membership 24 months post purchase (superior level includes all the benefits of HearCare for 2 years).
# Any appointments missed without 48 hours notice will be charged according to the clients perfomance level rate, and the HearCare membership will be suspended until the payment is made.
# HearCare members will receive their years supply of batteries following the first monthly payment.
# The years battery supply is based on an average use of 3 disposable cells per month, per device. If rechargeable devices are used 1 battery per device will be provided.
Since it is not our intention to collect personal information from children, no child specific policy is described.

We will store your data in our database securely for 2 years. The purpose for this will be to keep in touch with you and your situation, and update our records. After this period, we will permanently and safely delete your data if we have not got an on-going relationship with you, or if you are no longer requiring our services. If you want us to delete your data before this period, you may request for us to do this and your data will be permanently deleted from our database.
